My Approach: Meet You Where You Are

It starts with a simple conversation. I want to understand your goals and determine whether I’m the right person to help you achieve them. No pressure, no paperwork, and definitely no upfront commitments—just an honest, open discussion.

In my experience, the most important part of working with clients is meeting them exactly where they are. If you’re a seller who won’t be ready to list for another eighteen months, that’s perfectly fine, we can still map out next steps. If you’re a buyer who needs to find a home this week, that’s fine too: we can start seeing homes tomorrow. My role isn’t to rush your timeline, push you past your comfort zone, or steer you into a home that isn’t the one.

My job is to be ready, willing, and able to offer market insights, practical advice, and guidance whenever you need it. I focus on understanding where you are in your real estate journey, clearly communicating current market conditions, and setting realistic expectations along the way.

If I believe I can help you reach your goals—and you feel comfortable working with me—then we’re off to a great start.

Why I’m Different

I grew up in real estate. At eleven, my parents flipped their first home—a one bedroom lake cottage. By the time I hit high school, that side project had blossomed into a residential construction company—developing land, building spec homes, and tackling renovations and custom projects.

I didn’t just watch this happen—I lived it. I framed and roofed, sided and decked, sheetrocked, trimmed, and painted. I know what quality plumbing and electrical are supposed to look like. I can read blueprints and plot plans, and I’ve developed the vision see renovations before they exist.

All of this hands-on experience gives me a level of insight and confidence with homes that most agents simply don’t have.

With a special focus on Seniors & Retirees

My Meet You Where You Are philosophy is especially important when working with senior clients. Everyone communicates differently, and I’m happy to adapt to what feels most comfortable for you. If technology isn’t your preference, I will come to your home for signatures.

If you’d like to walk through the process again before moving forward, I’m always happy to explain—clearly and at your pace. And if involving adult children or trusted family members brings peace of mind, I welcome that conversation as well.

As a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), I’ve learned that if something helps you to feel more confident, informed, and comfortable throughout the transaction, that benefits us both. My goal is to make the process feel supportive, straightforward, and right for you.

Client Reviews

Digger was absolutely fantastic! He helped us to know all of our options throughout the home buying process, but supported our decisions and helped to make everything a fast and smooth process. Super friendly, a truly warm heart, and consistently available and ready to help however possible. Eternally grateful to you Digger!

JAIMEE BRODEUR, BUYER IN LISBON, CT

Digger is one of the best agents that I have ever worked with. I have purchased ten homes in my lifetime and this was one of the smoothest transactions ever. I hope we do not need him again (for another move) but if we did, I would definitely use his services.

JEFF ANDREINI, BUYER IN POMFRET, CT

We had an excellent experience working with Digger to sell our home in Mystic. His responsiveness and deep knowledge of the market were truly appreciated. The photography and marketing were top-notch and really showcased our home beautifully. He guided us skillfully through a transitioning market, offering sound advice that led to multiple offers above ask and a quick sale. Digger is great to work with – he’s smart, fun, and has a lot of integrity. We highly recommend Digger to anyone looking to buy or sell.

JESSICA L, SELLER IN MYSTIC, CT

We couldn’t have asked for a better partner in our first home-buying journey than Digger Stolz. We met him by chance at an open house after being with three not so great realtors before him. We had lost hope in there being a genuine realtor with the client’s interests in mind, but Digger broke that stereotype. He walked us through every step of the home buying process since we were first time home buyers, and answered every question we had and more. Throughout the process he was always just a phone call or text away, answering questions (even the small ones) with patience and clarity. He was present and extremely thorough while we were there with the inspectors. Also, he is genuinely just a nice human being and really cares about his clients. Over all our expectations were blown out of the water! We 1000% recommend him and will be using him when we sell this house!

JESSE FARR & PHIL WAGENKNECKT, BUYERS IN MOOSUP, CT

I met Digger for the first time looking at a property. While that property wasn’t a good fit for what I was looking for Digger clearly identified what type of property would be best fit for my situation. We kept in touch and Digger identified a property that he thought would be a great fit that was off market. He reached out to identify my interest, and proceeded to navigate me through a successful offer and closing. I was truly impressed and grateful by this “find”. I am also impressed with his knowledge in building construction, as well as remodeling and general knowledge of the geographical landscape. He is humble about his knowledge and his easy to get along with personality made things very smooth. I definitely will plan to be working with him again in the future.
